Instead of using your credit card to make online purchases try setting up a Paypal account. This is a secure online financial site that offers plenty of protection for fraudulent transactions. Again, it is important that you use a different password for this account than any others you have. Many identity theft cases involve someone using the same password for multiple accounts.

Don’t allow yourself to be an easy target for identity theft. It can harm your financial security as well as your mental health. Take all the precautions so that you are protected. Don’t become on of the thousands of people who are victimized in this manner annually.
